A milestone and a logical step forward in the Company's evolution was the transition from a purely servicing firm to a restructured organisation with strategic objectives encompassing sales and advisory services pertaining to a wider range of product lines including scientific equipment, hospital products and other product segments not directly related to these fields.

In 1987, the corporate name was changed from Medical Technology Services Ltd. to Technoline Ltd. as a move intended to impart a broader prospective of the Company's diversified product and service base. The change of name, at the same time, reflected more accurately the 'raison d'etre' of its core business, namely that of its offering a professional and efficient service in all areas of the many and varied operations which it undertakes.

In 1991 the operations moved from Tagliaferro Centre, Sliema to a new base in Gzira, a suburb ideally situated in the vicinity of St. Luke's General Hospital, the University of Malta, and various private clinics.
